​What you share in sessions is confidential. I will not disclose your information except in the following situations:​

  • Serious risk of harm to you or others
  • Legal requirements (e.g. terrorism, drug trafficking, money laundering, child protection)
  • When ordered by a court
  • With your explicit, written consent

Whenever possible, you’ll be informed before any disclosure is made.

 

How Your Information Is Stored

  • Notes and records are stored digitally on encrypted, password-protected devices
  • Data is retained for up to 7 years after therapy ends (per BACP guidance), then securely deleted

 

Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request corrections or deletion
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • File a complaint with the ICO: www.ico.org.uk
